Welcome
Tonic will introduce participants to the dimensions of wellbeing and the wheel of life - all of which will be explored in detail through out the programme (day /week / month or perhaps year). Explaining to participants that we do not expect them to wholly accept and utilise every different tool / technique instead that they understand that they can select from each which will work best for them / and their lifestyle.
This is about learning something new; participants have the opportunity to get outside themselves; perhaps focus on others (colleagues etc) which in turn will enhance wellbeing and personal development of their own life.
To have a positive impact on those around you, you need motivation, energy and a little creativity - this event will help you find this dynamic path! (The Law of Attraction)/
With knowledge, commitment and concentration - tools for which will be presented in this event - individuals will be able to make substantial progress; closing the gap between their actual performance "v" ultimate performance!
Session 1 (9.30am - 12.30pm)
This is a series of 30 minute workshops covering each of the following areas of some of the key dimensions wellbeing - more social and emotional fitness (MIND).
This session starts with nutrition; hydration levels and energy management - with time to sample - super food juices and smoothies & healthy snacks.
We will discuss and show how individuals can they influence their performance through out the day as well as their energy levels & mood using nutrition.
We then take a look at the principle of relaxation in particular meditation; acupressure points & physical postures and where & when these can help us. This will be followed by a session to try meditation - (walking & mindful meditation). And we will close with a goal setting session - making sure every individual comes again with an action for self improvement.

Session 2 (1.30pm - 4.30pm)
This is a series of 30 minute introductory sessions on each of the following tools / techniques - the focus is being physical and mental fitness (BODY).
After some definitions and a theoretical overview we will show individuals how to integrate physical activity into daily life in the office and at home.
During most of the session participants will be physically active however this is accompanied by lots of demonstrations and some theory.
We will also show that it is not always essential to "get sweaty" but at the same time still be physically & mentally challenged during the day.
